DWI/Traffic Safety and
DRE Recertification Conference
June 4-6, 2018 

Please join us for the DWI/Traffic Safety and DRE Recertification Conference which will be held June 4-6, 2018, at Tan-Tar-A.  This annual event is open to law enforcement officers, prosecutors and other traffic safety professionals and focuses on impaired driving and other traffic safety topics.  Please note the conference will run Monday-Wednesday this year as opposed to our usual Wednesday-Friday schedule.

The conference this year will feature sessions on safety procedures when dealing with fentanyl and other drugs, identifying vulnerable victims on traffic stops, working with the crime lab, and using the SFSTs to establish drug impairment, among others.

Registration fee:
There will be a non-refundable registration fee of $100 per person.  This payment can be made in advance by mailing a check payable to MOPS to:

If you will be sending one check to cover multiple attendees, please include a list of attendees covered by the check.

Please be advised that all registration fees, once paid, are non-refundable.  Once a payment is received and processed it is FINAL.  We will work with you to transfer the fee to another attendee at this conference, but we cannot issue any refunds or apply the payment to any other conference--no exceptions.

Hotel Accomodations:
A block of rooms has been reserved at Tan-Tar-A.  To make reservations, contact Tan-Tar-A at 573-348-3131.  Reservations must be made by May 6, 2018, to guarantee availability and our group rates.  Be sure to mention that you are attending the MOPS DWI/Traffic Safety Conference when making your reservation.

There are two different room rates available this year.  If you would like to guarantee a room on the main resort complex (Buildings A, B, C, D, and E), the rate will be $125.66 per night.  Or, you may reserve a run-of-house room at a rate of $104.03.  A run-of-house room may be on the main resort complex or in the Estates (the condos separate from the main lodge).  Be sure to specify your preference when making reservations.

Also, be advised that cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance of the arrival date.  Any rooms not cancelled by that time will be billed to the party guaranteeing the reservation.

Meals:
Breakfast will be provided for all attendees on Tuesday, June 5, and Wednesday, June 6.  Lunch will also be provided on Tuesday.  Attendees are responsible for the cost of all other meals.
