2020 Annual Meeting and Statewide Training

Please join us for the 2020 Annual Meeting and Statewide Training which will be held September 2-4 at Margaritaville Lake Resort. As usual, this conference will feature programs of interest to Missouri prosecutors and assistant prosecutors, including case law and legislative updates as well as ethics.  We will also feature a track dedicated to topics of interest to support staff.  There wil NOT be a child support track. 

We will also be hosting the Eighth Annual President's Awards Banquet in conjunction with the group lunch on Thursday, September 3.  MAPA will present the Prosecutor of the Year and Missouri Outstanding Prosecuting Attorney Service Award, among others.

Please be advied that all registration fees, once received and processed, are NON-REFUNDABLE and cannot be applied to any future event.

Also, please be advised that you will receive a confirmation email once you have successfully completed the registration process.  If you did not receive this email, your registration(s) did not go through.  This email will serve as your invoice for the conference.  Please retain the email as no other invoice will be prepared or sent.

Accommodations:
A block of rooms has been reserved at Margaritaville at a rate of $102.00 per night for a standard room, plus any applicable taxes.  Reservations can be made by calling 800-826-8272 or at https://irm.margaritavilleresortlakeoftheozarks.com/irmng?g=MAPA.  Ask for the Missouri Association of Prosecuting Attorneys block or use group code MAPA.  Reservations must be made by Tuesday, August 11, to guarantee our rate and availability.  Please be advised that this is a hard deadline.  If you do not call by the cut-off date, rooms and our group rate may not be available.  MAPA does not keep rooms on reserve and will not be able to help you get a room past the cut-off date. 

Also, be advised that any reservations made must be cancelled at least 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid fees and penalties if your plans change and you decide not to attend the conference.

COVID-19:
Both MAPA and Margaritaville are committed to conducting this event in the safest manner possible so things may look a little different than usual.  We will be working with the hotel on seating arrangements which allow for social distancing and to ensure the safety of food service during our breaks and meals.  We will ask our attendees to follow relevant CDC guidelines as the situation permits.  Please do not attend the conference or any events if you have had a recent fever or cough, if you feel sick, or if you are aware of recent exposure to a COVID positive person.  Although we will not require attendees to wear masks, everyone is encouraged to do so.  We appreciate your cooperation and patience as we navigate the challenges of providing in-person training in these challenging times.
