Gesu School is an independent Catholic, Jesuit elementary school educating 450 children in pre-K through 8th grade. Inspired by the Jesuit and IHM traditions of social justice, faith, hope and love, Gesu School strives to empower North Philadelphia's children to break the cycle of poverty and violence.
There are no selective admissions to attend Gesu School. and our children come from a variety of faith backgrounds. In a city where approximately 65% of public high school students graduate in four years, 90% of Gesu alumni graduate from high school on time. More than 85% of those Gesu graduates pursue post-secondary education.
