Rose Sangha: The Art of Lamentation
On the 20th anniversary of 9/11, we look to Mary Magdalene as a source of inspiration for how to approach the sorrows of the world. Parisian singer Catherine Braslavsky offers music of grief, Harmony Harrison shares poetry and Kayleen Asbo, PhD shares about the paleolithic art and ritual objects discovered at La Madeleine in the Dorodgne, some of the earliest evidence we have for the drive to create beauty in the face of death. We end our exploration of the Lost Art of Lamentation through writing practices, art and optional small group sharing circles.
