Welcome to Ireland!

Join us on this special private tour designed for those who love taking pictures and their partners who just want a wonderful vacation experience! We all had such a wonderful time last year that we couldn’t wait to get back and we’re excited to be able to offer this again to you.

Unlike standard tours where you are headed from place to place and on a strict timetable, we have our own private coach and guide. That allows us the freedom and flexibility to adjust our travels to get the most out of every place we visit. those interested in photography will benefit from having two pros on board who will spend the week helping you improve your images so that you have amazing images to bring home with you. Those not interested in cameras will have plenty of time for sightseeing, shopping and exploring without having to wait around for their photographers!

Our Itinerary

Both couples and singles are welcome as we make a loop around the south of Ireland. We’ll visit many iconic spots while introducing you to some places that are rarely visited on commercial tours. Keep in mind,  we always make adjustments based on weather and unexpected opportunities. Here’s our Sample Itinerary:

Day 1: Saturday, 2nd June 2018  •  Arrival in Shannon

On arrival into Shannon Airport, you will be met by your driver guide in the

Arrivals Terminal. Your tour will begin by traveling towards Ireland’s friendliest city, Galway. We will tour through the Burren region and then visit the Cliffs of Moher. The Cliffs of Moher are one of Ireland's top Visitor attractions and are a designated UNESCO Geo Park.

Next visit Ballyvaughan, an enchanting picturesque village on the West Atlantic Coast of Ireland. View Dungaire Castle as you tour through Kinvara village and on to Galway City. Our guide will give us an orientation tour of the City before we enjoy our evening meal.

Day 2: Sunday, 3rd June 2018  •  Connemara

Travel through the Connemara region which is known for its mountains, the Twelve Bens and the beauty of the landscape with its changing colours. You will see the Connemara Marble Factory just outside Moycullen and then “The Quiet Man” bridge outside Oughterard. Enjoy the breathtaking views as you travel through the Maam Valley in the shadow of the Maamturk Mountains. Continue to Clifden where you will explore the Sky Road Loop then tour through Letterfrack before arriving at the picturesque Kylemore Abbey. Kylemore Abbey was founded by the Benedictines and is now a private school for girls. Their Victorian Gardens are spectacular. Nearby is Connemara National Park which covers some 7000 acres of mountains, bogs, heaths and grasslands, with wildlife and scenic walking trails. Afterwards you will have the option to continue touring to the picturesque town on Leenane at the top of the Killary fjord where you will enjoy wonderful views of the beautiful landscape before returning to Galway to enjoy your evening.

Days 3: Monday, 4th June 2018  •  Kerry, Slea Head & Dingle Penninsula

Slea Head is Europe’s most westerly point and its outlying historic Blasket Islands are known locally as the ‘next parish to America.’ The unsurpassed beauty of its rugged coastline and landscape inspired the famous film director David Lean to shoot his epic film ‘Ryan’s Daughter’ on location in the Dingle Peninsula. The landscape is dotted with ancient historic sites and early Christian dwellings such as the Gallarus Oratory [9th century Christian Oratory], Beehive Huts (early Christian Monks dwellings) and the Blasket Islands Interpretative Centre. The route passes through Milltown and Castlemaine before arriving at the beautiful fishing harbor town of Dingle, home of Dingle Oceanworld and Ireland’s favorite dolphin – ‘Fungi’.
Accommodation: 4* Killarney Plaza, International Hotel, Randles Hotel, Killarney or similar – 3 nights

Day 4: Tuesday, 5th June 2018  •  Ring of Kerry

The Ring of Kerry is the most renowned Day Tour in Ireland. Throughout its 110 miles, you will travel around the MacGillicuddy Reeks and the Iveragh Peninsula, along the breathtaking Atlantic Coast, Dingle Bay and Kenmare Bay, returning to Killarney through the famed Molls Gap, Ladies View and Killarney National Park. En route are the lovely coastal villages of Glenbeigh, Waterville and Sneem and the thriving market towns of Killorglin and Caherciveen. The Ring embraces many points of historic and archaeological interest. You might like to take this evening to take a walk around Killarney where most pubs provide live entertainment. So whether you are looking for a sing-along Kerry style, or a good Trad session, or just a quiet pint, you are sure to find it in Killarney.

Day 5: Wednesday, 6th June 2018  •  Beara Peninsula

We all love a secret, a locals insider tip & whilst the Beara Peninsula is not exactly unknown its certainly less well known than its other major “ring” driving routes in Ireland’s Southwest Kerry & Dingle. Its intricate coast and sharp-featured mountains are a geologist’s paradise of exposed and contorted rock strata, making for dramatic scenery at almost every turn of the road. Beara, even in the peak of the season, does not get as many tour buses as other Ring routes. In fact you will struggle to meet even one coach on this 153 Km peninsula.

Day 6: Thursday, 7th June 2018  •  Blarney

Tour past Cork and visit to Blarney where Blarney Castle, a 15th century McCarthy Castle, is legend. You will enjoy a stroll through the estate to the castle and then climb to the top and kiss the Blarney Stone. It is said that you will obtain the gift of eloquent speech by kissing the stone, otherwise known as ‘The Gift of the Gab. A visit to the Blarney Woollen Mills is also highly recommended, with its fantastic variety of Irish crafts available for sale and its wonderful restaurant. Alternatively, head across Blarney square and stop at the Muskerry Arms Bar, where you’re guaranteed to get atraditional Irish meal and a chat with the locals. Time permitting, you may visit to the unique harbor town of Cobh, known from 1850 until the late 1920’s as ‘Queenstown.’ Situated in one of the world’s finest natural harbors, you will see a view of coloured houses which dot the landscape. You will learn of the origins, history and legacy of Cobh. Cobh is famous as the port of departure for over two million people who emigrated from Ireland in the century after the Irish famine of 1848. Cobh was also the last port of call of the Titanic on its maiden voyage in 1912.

Day 7: Friday, 8th June 2018  •  Dublin

You will make your way to Dublin today, passing the Rock of Cashel, a cathedral fortress dating back to the time of St Patrick. Once you arrive back in Dublin, your driver guide will give you an orientation tour of Ireland’s capital city. You will visit to the Guinness Storehouse and enjoy a complimentary pint of Guinness in the Gravity Bar which enjoys panoramic views of the City. This evening you will attend a lively mix of pulsating traditional Irish dance rhythms, jaw-dropping footwork and legendary Irish Songs. Located in the heart of Dublin City Centre, next to the famous O’Connell Bridge, Celtic Nights is choreographed for maximum audience participation and family fun entertainment. It includes world championship dancers and All Ireland winning musicians showcasing the very best in Irish dance including the famous brush dance, ‘sean nos’ (Old Style) and you will even have the opportunity to share the stage with the Irish dancers for a Céilí.
