OregonSaves Can Help

Have you heard about this???  OregonSaves is a new, state-run retirement program for employees of businesses who do not currently offer a retirement savings plan.  It allows employees to save a part of each paycheck through payroll deductions facilitated by their employer and invest their savings in professionally-managed investment options in a Roth individual retirement account.  You don’t need to do anything to enroll if your employer doesn’t offer a retirement plan. You will automatically start saving a percentage of your paycheck in your own IRA (individual retirement arrangement) that will stay with you from job to job.  It will always remain your money and you have total control over your account.  You do not have to participate and may opt out at any time.  Employers need to understand this process too.

The goal of the program... more Oregonians will save. Hear more details and ask questions on how this program works and who it can be a tool to retain good employees.
