About David Wilson

As a boy, David developed an early interest in plants working alongside his grandmother in her cottage style garden in Ireland. Since that early start, he has spent over 40 years immersed in the culture of plants and gardens.

Lecturing activity and appearances on radio and television developed into a role as guest lecturer for various organizations including the American Horticultural Society. He has traveled extensively, conducting educational tours around many of the most famous gardens of Europe.

He is the Director of Marketing for Garden Splendor® a fabulous range of top quality; premium sized garden plants that are available here at McArdles. When he is not helping fellow gardeners, he can usually be found in his own suburban 2 acre garden, where he enjoys spending time with his wife and faithful garden companion Meg (a lively English Springer Spaniel).

His comprehensive knowledge, practical experience, enthusiasm, and humor combine to entertain and inspire.
