Fifth-Graders: Do the Bill of Rights Rap!

Oklahoma fifth-graders are invited to learn the Bill of Rights Rap and perform it at their school to celebrate Constitution Day on Sept. 17 or Bill of Rights Day Dec. 15. The Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence offers this resource year-round to promote the Bill of Rights Rap as a fun, educational learning experience for fifth-graders across the state.

Use the video below and these rap lyrics to help your students learn the Bill of Rights Rap. The Rap was written by educators Barbara and Jim Bongard and is performed here by students from Teresa Potter's class at Fisher Elementary School in Moore.

If your students perform the Bill of Rights Rap, we encourage you to record their performance and share the video link with the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence by contacting bwheelock@ofe.org. We will recognize your school and share your video in our social media.
