Parking
The UH SBDC is located in a 6-story, tinted glass-exterior building at the Southwest-most corner of Fannin and Hadley Streets. Free parking is available in the gated parking lot directly across the street in spots labled U of H on the pavment. The enterance ot the parking lot is on Hadley Street. If the U of H designated parking spots are full, there is free and metered parking outside of the parking lot on Hadley Street and metered parking on Fannin Street.
Please park only in a U of H designated space!
The remaining spaces are contract parking for other building tenants who must display a parking permit at all times. Unauthorized vehicles parked in non-U of H spots will be towed at the owner's expense.

Supply Chain Risks - Mitigating through Incoterms® and Insurance
Program Description
A good understanding of the rules brings clarity to the costs, risk and responsibilities of both the buyer and seller and is a seller's best defense to ensure full and prompt payment.
La Donna Logan will guide you through the relationship between Incoterms and Insurance and how you may prevent risks throughout the various stages of the supply chain. Although Incoterms address transfer of risk, they should not be used as the sole basis of considering insurance. These are merely guidelines and can be amended, altered or superseded by parties to the contract. For example, only CIP and CIF terms stipulate an insurance obligation, however, the scope of insurance is not clearly specified therefore All Risk Cargo Insurance should be secured when available.

Pam Holdrup: Principal, Proven Logistics Solutions (PLS)
Pam’s career spans 30+ years in freight forwarding and logistics management as a founding member of WTS, A Global Logistics Company. WTS was acquired by Agility Project Logistics in 2007 where Pam served as SVP – Global Business Development until 2010 when she and her colleagues formed PLS, a training and consulting company for logistics excellence. Pam’s expertise includes pre-project planning, implementation, ongoing management of KPIs and the identification of best practices in global supply chain management. Pam is certified as an “Incoterms® 2010 Master Trainer” by the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris.

La Donna came to Roanoke Trade in 2015 after spending 18 years in the Freight Forwarding industry specializing in Russia/CIS and Global Project Cargo moves. Her roles in business development and project management provided a broad range of knowledge and experience in the various stages of the shipment process.
