Parking

The UH SBDC is located in a 6-story, tinted glass-exterior building at the Southwest-most corner of Fannin and Hadley Streets. Free parking is available in the gated parking lot directly across the street in spots labled U of H on the pavment. The enterance ot the parking lot is on Hadley Street.  If the U of H designated parking spots are full, there is free and metered parking outside of the parking lot on Hadley Street and metered parking on Fannin Street.

Please park only in a U of H designated space!

The remaining spaces are contract parking for other building tenants who must display a parking permit at all times. Unauthorized vehicles parked in non-U of H spots will be towed at the owner's expense.

David Reed is a pioneer and thought-leader within the international segment of the garage door industry. As an Executive Director at Entrematic, David has been an expatriate, established foreign subsidiaries in three different continents, and expanded company sales into more than forty countries around the world. In addition to his international duties, David also leads various cross-functional projects to support marketing, sales & operations planning, product development, and other business initiatives.

 Speaker Bio

Tim Jeffcoat is the Director of the U.S. Small Business Adminstration in Houston. He oversees the delivery of SBA programs and services in Houston and the surrounding 32 counties of Texas. Most of Tim's career has been in private sector leadership roles in international business, marketing, and business development. Tim's career has required international assignments and global responsiblities.

Richard Ryan entered public service in 2001 after a career in the private sector. Before assuming the director position in Houston in the summer of 2015, Richard began in the spring of 2010 assisting North Texas U.S. companies in aerospace/defense and energy sectors explore new markets overseas. Prior to returning to Texas, he served as Policy Officer for the Advocacy Center, Liaison for Associations and Trade Promotion, and with the U.S. & Foreign Commercial Service's strategic planning office.

Export U presenters are international trade practitioners who are associated with or recruited by members of the HDEC.
