The Financial Services Innovation Coalition (FSIC) invites you to join Jordan Goodman, host of Money Answers for a discussion on “Microlending, Factoring, and Peer to Peer: How Innovators Are Helping Small Businesses Cope With The Credit Crisis”

"By using innovation we are able to create, test, breakdown and repair a product to assure its viability."

Date: Tuesday, April 29, 2014

Time: 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm. Program begins promptly at 1:30 pm, check-in starts at 1:00 pm.

Location: Russell Senate Building, Senate Room 188

“Small business is the largest generator of jobs and personal wealth in our economy. It is our responsibility to fully understand the issues facing the small business community and to develop sound policy initiatives and innovations that will benefit this vibrant segment of the economy,” said Joe Baca, former Congressman and Executive Director of FSIC.

The state of access to financing and equity capital has reached a critical point in the US economy. Federal economic and financial policy plays a crucial role in small business viability. The panel discussion will discuss how key innovators, academics and community leaders are using technology to rethink the way credit is administered and expand the ranks of those who qualify.
