Pre-Saleen Open House Cruise | Fabulous Fords Forever Weekend '13 

Are you driving in from out of town and looking for something cool to do FFF weekend?  Join us on a full day of horsepower driven fun!

Our plans include a pop your hoods "meet n greet"  starting Rally point at our facility.  Meet the 281 Motorsports crew as we host a Suspension Workshop, open house tour and vehicle detailing for those traveling from out of the area.  Following the activities at the shop, we will head out and go on a scenic 1.5hr cruise ending up at the Saleen World Headquarters for a complete Factory Tour.

EVENT DETAILS -

9:30-10:30 | Suspension Workshop / Chassis Scaling

Ever wanted to find out what your weight balance / transfer is? If you have a good suspension and haven't had your Mustang scaled and adjusted for proper weight balance and had the chassis set up for Roll Center / Instant Center / Thrust Angle / SAI / Bump Steer / Pinion Angle / Wheel Base - Front Track Width, you're really missing out. A simple weight adjustment on a coil-over system makes a HUGE difference in the handling characteristics in your Mustang. Don't spend thousands on the suspension in your car and not set it up!

Many of our customers who have benefited from a proper chassis setup and scaling will be on hand to explain their experiences with you. Speak with our lead fabricator who has also been a crew chief for many professional race teams. Our resident customer Pete who also has decades of experience on Nascar/SCCA Trans Am crew teams will be on hand to answer questions as well.

To show off our new PRO Longacre equipment, we will offer a **FREE** corner weight check to the first 10 people who sign up, the service is normally $79.99 so take advantage! To participate, you must sign up and call in to schedule your scaling appointment time. *Due to time constraints, if you are not checked in by 9:15 we will give your slot to someone else.

9:00-10:30 | Vehicle Detailing

For those of you traveling from far distances (200+miles) we will offer complementary professional detailing (wash, exterior dress, clean interior and dress if desired) to the FIRST 10 who have reserved.  Local and/or other participants that would like a detail, can schedule by appointment only for $30. To participate, you must sign up and call in to schedule your detailing time. *You must be checked in by 9:00am to reserve your time slot or it will be given to someone else.

11:00-2:00 | Canyon Run to Saleen

After discussing vehicle handling, put your vehicle to the test as we will take an exhilarating run through some twisty canyons.  This route is designed to encompass many styles of driving and is filled with beautiful back roads views.  Make sure to bring along your camera!

2:00-4:00 | Saleen World Headquarters Factory Tour

See some of the latest Saleen models on display along with many other Enthusiast cars that have traveled in from the surrounding states.  Saleen will open is assembly line and show you just exactly where their Masterpieces are being built.  The Saleen staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.  Hats, T-shirts and swag will be on hand to purchase including the newly infamous “Molly Pop” line of apparel.
