2:00 pm - Working with Receptive Operators: Why and How Heather Anderson, Tourism Sales Manager for Travel Portland, will lead the general session with an overview of key information get your business in front of the world through receptive operators. This includes everything from statistics to hot markets for our region to the basics of the buying chain, Billie will lay the groundwork with a great base of information for everyone.
3:00 pm - Industry Segment Breakouts
The second half of the workshop features three concurrent breakout sessions focused on specific tactics related to these industry segments: hotels, attractions, and DMO's. A panel of experts from each of these segments will talk in-depth about specific things receptive operators are looking for, marketing tools and fulfillment tips, case studies, and the opportunity for Q & A with panelists who are actively working with receptives (see below for a list of panelists).
End the day with a ticket to have the 'first drink on us' in Sam's Lounge and enjoy some networking time with your workshop-mates, panelists and peers.
