Sew a Pillowcase Ages 9+

In this class, students will use a sewing machine to make a pillowcase for a standard size bed pillow. Students may bring their own machine or use one of ours. Learn how to stitch forward, reverse, zig-zag and use decorative accent stitching.

Supplies are additional and must be purchased at least one day before class. Materials needed include:

1 yard cotton fabric - $9 and up* (we recommend quilting cotton or poplin)

1 spool coordinating thread - $2.50

*If your fabric has a directional print, you will need 2 yards rather than just 1

No previous sewing machine experience required. Price includes 2 hours of direct instruction. Materials are sold separately and must be purchased in advance of the class. Fabric must be pre-washed and ironed so students are ready to sew when they arrive.
