Backyard Amateur BBQ Competition 

The KCBS Professional and Amateur BBQ Competitions are back again by popular demand for 2018! This is the premier BBQ event in, not only Michigan, but the entire Midwest! Be part of this fun, competitive event in beautiful downtown Silver Lake.

ENTRY FEE: $50.00

• Entries will be limited to 25 teams on a first come basis. 
• Backyard teams are required to cook within assigned 10’x10’ space – (Additional space, if available - $25; Electric Plug - $25)
• Team and meat check-in on September 14 th - 8 AM to 10 AM.
• All cooking sites must be cleaned and vacated by 7:00 PM. (Overnight camping will not be allowed.)

WAIVER of LIABILITY: In consideration of your acceptance of this entry and fee, I, the undersigned intending to be legally bound, do hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages I may have against the Silver Lake Sand Dunes Apple & BBQ Festival, KCBS, and their agents, successors and assigns for any and all injuries suffered to me in this event. I further grant permission to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes Apple & BBQ Festival and/or agents authorized by them to use any photographs, videotapes or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.

Any alcohol consumed (“Red Cup” rule applies) must be done responsibly and within the confines of your site.
