Youth Service Project - GAiN USA

The Global Aid Network® (GAiN®) Distribution Center operates year-round in receiving,processing, packing, and shipping aid to places around the globe. Each year, the distribution center also conducts volunteer work projects where aid is packed prior to shipment overseas.

**SPECIAL REQUEST FROM GAiN.  There is a shortage of clothing at the facility.  Would you consider starting a clothing drive at your church, and then bring all donations to GAiN on the day of the service project?  Thank you in advance!! 

 

DETAILS…

Please arrive by 9:45 so we can hopefully get everyone registered and we start work by 10.  We will work until 1, and then, have lunch (pizza and drink provided).  After that, we will have the Amazing Race - Car Edition, and finally, have ice cream at our final destination!

Points to remember for participating in this project (expectations from GAiN):

1. Please wear closed-toed shoes (no flip-flops or sandals) for safety.

2. A liability form MUST be signed by everyone, youth and advisors.  To save time, and provide for a faster check in on the event day, you can go HERE (http://www.gainusa.org/sign) to digitally sign the form.  Minors need a parent/guardian signature.

REMEMBER…

Wear work clothing-- must wear close-toed shoes (no flip-flops or sandals).
Drinks and pizza are provided for lunch.
