Joy in Creation, Faith & Fellowship.
Please join us for a wonderful day at Camp Swatara filled with fellowship with your sisters in Christ.

THINGS TO LOOK FORWARD TO AT CAMP:

  • Theme:   This year is “Joy in Creation - Faith - Fellowship”
  • Crafts:  This year there are 2 projects.  Please pre-register for crafts on your registration form. Pre-Registration for crafts will help us know how many are planning to participate in these sessions.
  1. Rock Painting led by Delores Neuber and Karen Steich.  You may select a small rock or a large rock.  There is a fee for this craft and it can be found on the Registration Form.  The fee will be collected at Camp.
  2. Crochet a Coaster led by Tess Mountain:  Crochet a Coaster using t-shirt yarn.  There is no fee but participants need to bring the following materials:  size 7mm (K or L) crochet hook, scissors and t-shirt (preferably with little or no design or seams.  Those reduce the amount of reusable fabric.)
  • Special Interest Groups include:   Meditation/Journaling, Gentle Nature Walk, Bible Study (both English and Spanish), Bells, Table Games, Chair Yoga Exercise, Miniature Golf, Boating and Hiking.
  • Childcare:  will be provided during the Event.  PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR CHILD CARE.  YOU WILL FIND THIS INFORMATION ON THE REGISTRATION FORM.
  • Offering:  Our Offering this year will be going to Camp Swatara towards the funding of a generator for the West Area.  This will provide power in case of a power outage due to high winds and falling trees.  With this power source impacted groups and programs can continue activities as planned.
  • Camp Extras
  1. You have the opportunity to stay for Dinner, Vespers, and a Camp Fire in the evening.  Please select these items on your Registration Form if you are interested in staying. The cost for dinner is $9.50.
  2. You have the opportunity to stay Friday or Saturday night in the North Lodge.  If you wish to do so, you need to call Camp Swatara directly to make your arrangements:  717-933-8510
