(students are welcome to use paper or cloth or both)
January 26 & 27, 2013 (Saturday & Sunday)

Description: Learn an updated version of an ancient technique made easier with new products. Marbling is the process of dropping thinned paints on the surface of thickened water. Gorgeous and colorful organic shapes layered one on top of the other renders rich and deep colors with a soft enough hand to machine or hand quilt. Students will leave with yards of unusually spontaneous and deeply colored fabrics ready to put into your next work of art. Traditional patterns can also be achieved, plus using stencils to gain more control and floating objects in the paint to create interest. Students will leave with yards of unusually spontaneous and deeply colored fabrics ready to put into your next work of art.
Register Now! $190 for 2 day workshop. $20 materials fee payable at workshop. Supply list upon registration.
