River Days at Padre Dam!
Water - It's Too Good to Waste
Do you have a “thirst” for water knowledge? Join Us for River Days at Padre Dam Municipal Water District!
This free event is on Saturday, May 20 at 10 a.m. in Santee. It is appropriate for all ages, from grade school to adults. Please arrive shortly before 10 a.m. to allow time to sign in. Estimated end time is 12:30 p.m.
You will receive a guided tour of the wastewater recycling and advanced water purification processes. The tour will focus on where our water comes from, what happens after water goes down the drain, how we can reuse this "wasted" water and how the Advanced Water Purification Program can create a new source of drinking water in East San Diego County.
We will have fun and educational station and activities for kids. Everyone leaves with a memento!
Santee Lakes is a short drive away. You are welcome to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the rest of your day at the beautiful Santee Lakes!
