The TASO Baseball Division will conduct their 2016 Annual Meeting on January 9, 2016, at the Westin Houston, Memorial City .  The meeting details are located in the event info block to the left.

The Houston Chapter will serve as the host chapter for the meeting.

Balls and Strikes presented by National Umpire Camps
Friday January 8th 2016, 12 Noon to 4 PM
Cost - $35 ($5 of each registration will be DONATED to UMPS CARE )

• Strike zone
• Tracking the pitch through the strike zone
• Check swings
• Making adjustments
• Non-routine plays
• Basic mechanics

There will be four sessions of one hour each.  For each session, groups will be limited to 7 umpires per instructor.  Instructors will consist of current professional, former professional, and NCAA D-1 umpires. All listed instructors are subject to availability.

OVERFLOW HOTEL

The Host Hotel, the Westin Memorial City, is sold out except for some premium rooms ($149).  TASO has made arrangements for an overflow hotel, the Four Points by Sheraton Houston CITYCENTRE, which is less than 2 miles away from the Westin.

The rate at the Four Points is $79 for a single or double, $89 for a triple and $99 for a quad.

TASO PERSONALIZED BAG TAGS

Register online and order your personalized TASO Bag Tag.  This "credit card" size color bag tag has the TASO logo on one side and your name and "BASEBALL DIVISION" printed on the opposite side.  The name you specify for your name badge will be used on the bag tag.  The cost per bag tag is $5.00, plus tax.

The ONLY way to order your bag tag is to pre-register online before the online registration ends.
