Westgate Chapel is offering a Community Service Chaplaincy course to provide specialized training to equip pastors, lay leaders and interested volunteers for the challenges of ministering to people following a crisis. This forty hour training will provide participants with five days of intensive instruction covering topics such as:

• Crisis response
• Critical incident stress
• Grief and trauma counseling
• Confidentiality
• Suicide
• Domestic violence
• The role of ministry outside the walls of the church

This course is designed to equip willing hearts and hands with the tools necessary to minister to those in great need.
