Run the Canyon 5K 

Join the Sage Canyon Elementary PTO for a day of exercise, food, and fun! The PTO is prohibited from paying staff wages, therefore, our fundraising efforts will be put towards items such as classroom materials, equipment, staff training, school upkeep, books, and technology. This will allow our school to maintain the current level of staff and also to increase staff in areas necessary. As our neighborhood continues to grow, so will the school's needs. This fundraiser provides a great opportunity to enjoy a day with your family while supporting a local school.

We're offering three registration options (all registration fees include entry to the carnival):

• Individual – $26 per registrant
• Family Sponsorship – $150 per family *This option is no longer available*
  (Includes: registration for immediate family members, t-shirts for family participants, carnival entry for family, three dunk tank tickets, family name included on event t-shirts!)
• Sage Canyon Student – $13 per student

Run the Canyon 5K isn't your typical race. Located in the Terrain neighborhood in Castle Rock, CO, Run the Canyon offers plenty of hills and a little offroading to offer participants some variety. Not up for the challenge? No problem, a fun run in the neighboring Wrangler Park will also be available. Runners and walkers are both welcome.

And, don't forget to visit Noodles & Co. in Castle Rock to load up on your carbs the night before, August 24th. Mention Sage Canyon Run the Canyon 5K and they will donate a percentage of your purchase to the school.

Immediately following the run, Sage Canyon Elementary will also be hosting a family-fun carnival at Wrangler Park. Join us for a little fun jumping in the bouncy houses, playing a few carnival games, dunking your favorite teacher, and maybe even win a door prize.

Kona Ice, Lost Coffee, and The Hunger Bandit foodwagon will not only be available at the event to satisfy your cravings, but they have also all graciously offered to give a percentage of the proceeds back to Sage Canyon.
