FAQs

How does the party work?

Doors open at 6:00 pm at the theatre. Now is the time to see who's at the party and check out the fabulous costumes. Hors d'oeuvres & drinks & popcorn (of course!), will be served.  Ages 21+ only please!

7:30 pm:  2015-2016 season is unveiled.  This includes our movie schedule, plus a few live acts we have coming to the theatre this year.

8:00 pm-9:30 pm:  All bidding is done by silent auction. Bidding starts as low as $25.00 for a Prize Sponsorship on up to over $700 for Christmas movies.

9:45 pm:  Winners of the auction are revealed!  Pay for your winning bids tonight or let us know & we will invoice you.

Do I have to dress up in costume?

No, you don't have to, but we do encourage it!  This year's theme is BASEBALL. Be creative and dress like you're going to the ball park!

Do I have to pay the night of the party?

We do encourage payments the night of the event but we are also able to send an invoice if it is more convenient for you or your business.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, checks and cash.

I can't attend the party.  Can I still sponsor a movie or something else?

Yes, you can!  We will do bidding by proxy if you are unable to attend.
We will have a representative from our organization bidding on your behalf.
To do so, you will need to contact Anne Hartman at Franklin Heritage to make arrangements.

Where does my money go?

All funds collected from the auction go straight back into the restoration and operation of the Artcraft Theatre.

Are my donations tax deductible?

Anything over $50.00 is tax deductible as we are a non-profit 501c3 organization.  However, while Franklin Heritage, Inc. and the Artcraft Theatre are non-profit organizations, by sponsoring our programming, a company or business receives a service in advertising and marketing which is not tax deductible. However, non-restricted cash donations continue to be tax deductible.
