Earlier this year, in July 2015, the United States and Cuba restored full diplomatic relations. What does this mean for the Business Community of Curaçao? Our speaker, Mr. Carel Lopez, will provide a general overview of the country and the business community, and will walk the audience through six steps that one should follow when doing business or wanting to do business with Cuba. He will also touch the topic of Foreign Investment in Cuba and highlight opportunities for doing business.

Carel Lopez has lived in Cuba for 15 years and is nowadays still engaged in finance and Trade in and with Cuba. He is the Managing Director of CGL Capital Management Inc., a company which is engaged in general consultancy activities, focused on Financial transactions.

Mr. Lopez assists businesses and individuals with access to local contacts in Cuba, in order to sell one’s products and take advantage of investment opportunities, and facilitates entrance to the Cuban market. He has also been assisting businesses and individuals in finding suitable and/or acceptable ways to collect one’s receivables.
