MEGA Sports Camp 2017

MEGA Sports Camp is for children between the ages of 6-12. Each child can choose one of four sports to participate in during the week of camp:  Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, or  Cheerleading. Once children choose a sport, they will meet each evening with their coach, learning basic fundamentals of their sport. In addition to this, each day the child will be taught life lessons that will enable them to be a person of strong character and faith.

Registration
Every day begins at registration. Kids sign in each evening and get a name tag; receiving their T-shirt on the first day of camp.

Opening Rally
Camp starts with a short, energetic opening rally to the day's activities. Kids and coaches sing high-action songs, receive a warm welcome, and discover the theme and Key Point for the day.

Sports Sessions
Kids choose one sport to participate in during MEGA Sports Camp. They learn new skills, practice, and afterwards use their new skills in game-related activities. The goal is teamwork rather than competition.

Huddle Time 
A special part of MEGA Sports Camp is the small group time led by a Huddle Coach . Huddle times take place as a break from positive sports instruction.  The Coach Huddle Guide provides review questions and stories to lead kids in applying the day's key points.

Halftime Break
Kids take a moment to catch their breath with a quick snack break at the Concession Stand.

Halftime Rally
Kids experience an object lesson and a sports story that make the day's key truths take hold in their hearts.

Closing Rally
Kids enjoy active theme songs and an interactive Bible story based on the theme.
