Do you want to learn more about your family's history but feel overwhelmed by where to begin? This spring, join expert genealogist Nancy Dupree as she leads a four-week course specifically tailored to those just beginning to discover their family tree.
Participants will be given a solid foundation to craft an effective research plan and learn valuable skills to help navigate the oftentimes overwhelming world of genealogical research. Dupree will also provide instruction on how to best use the Archives Research Room and its resources, including free access to ancestry.com and Fold3.
The course will be held over four Mondays at the Archives from 9am til noon beginning March 31st and concluding April 21st.
Cost is $70 for the public and $55 for Friends of the Archives.
Open registration begins March 3rd.
