Start discovering your African American ancestors and build your family tree in this half-day workshop led by the Archives' expert genealogist Nancy Dupree. This workshop will provide step-by-step instruction and guidance on the many resources available in the ADAH’s EBSCO Research Room, tips and tricks for navigating potential research roadblocks, and address challenges specific to African American genealogical research. Dupree will focus on the basics for beginners and also provide more experienced participants valuable tools for taking their research to the next level.
This workshop is suited for all levels of research experience.
Cost is $30 for the general public and $20 for Friends of the Alabama Archives members.
