Genealogy 101: Breaking Ground

Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm 

This workshop is perfect for those just beginning to research their family history. It will feature step-by-step instruction by expert staff followed by hands-on research in the ADAH’s EBSCO Research Room. Participants will leave with a solid foundation to craft an effective research plan and valuable skills for finding their family's story.

Cost is $30 for the general public and $20 for Friends of the Alabama Archives members (plus a processing fee). Cost includes a boxed lunch. All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Alabama Archives.
