Please join us for a night of learning with the 21st Century Fund's first Innovation Fellow, faculty member Sam Dickerman.  Light food and cash bar.    After the lecture, join three of the following five workshops for a chance to learn how to use technology improving the community and education at BHS.   Feel free to bring your laptop, iPad or smartphone to the workshops.

• What is Canvas?:  How is canvas helping teachers and students manage classwork.  Facilitator:  Lisa Francescon, Education Technology Specialist at BHS
• What is Naviance?:  How can students and even parents use Naviance to manage the college process.  Facilitator:  Jenni King, former head of counseling Newton South HS
• Why join Twitter/Facebook/Instagram at BHS?:  How would following certain parts of the high school enhance my connection to the community.  Facilitator:  Kyle Williams, Asst. Athletic Director, BHS
• How can Youtube create a Flipped Classroom?  See how teachers use youtube video lectures to teach students at night and classroom time for group work.  Facilitator: Meaghan Cells, Chemistry Teacher at BHS
