AIA National Changes to AIA Code of Ethics & Professional Conduct
Changes Address Sexual Harassment, Equity & Sustainability

Course Description:

Eric O. Pempus, FAIA, Esq., NCARB, ORSA will discuss the AIA National changes to the AIA Code of Ethics & Professional Conduct that addresses sexual harassment, equity and sustainability.  The program will include a live tele-conference link from National's NEC chair or someone from the General Counsel's office to provide the background to the changes, and to address any questions or concerns that AIA Cleveland attendees may have.

Learning Objectives:

  • Attendees will understand the current  AIA Code of Ethics & Professional Conducts history and structure.
  • Attendees will understand the current AIA Code of Ethics & Professional Conducts application and enforcement provisions.
  • Attendees will examine and consider AIA National's changes to the AIA Code of Ethics & Professional Conduct that addresses sexual harassment and equity in the profession.  
  • Attendees will examine and consider AIA National's changes to the AIA Code of Ethics & Professional Conduct that addresses sustainability in the profession.
  • Lunch is provided
