This presentation will emphasize the key role HR can play in presenting alternative solutions and perspectives in areas ranging from compensation, to benefits, to recruitment, to progressive corrective action, to staffing / organizational changes, to developing employment laws. Ultimately weighing in on the strategic business decisions of their organization.
Attendees will learn how to:
- Maintain a problem solving orientation in the HR role
- Be fact and data driven – passionate yes, but fact-based
- Be listened to and sought out for advice
Presenter: Gary Barello SPHR, Senior Vice President, Biodex Medical Systems, Inc. / Sperry Associates Federal Credit Union is a seasoned HR executive with experience in the for-profit world, the not-for-profit world, publicly traded corporations, privately held corporations, who has been "at the table" as a direct report to various CEO's for 20 years as well as a Board Member and Board Chair in several organizations, and an adjunct Professor for graduate students at a local college since 2000
