  • Follow the sidewalk running between the Chamber and the Library to the covered double doors. 
  • Free parking available in the City Hall Parking Garage located across the street from the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce.

  • 7:00 – 8:30      “A Cookie Business Idea” Banter with John Cotner
  • Banters are the heart of WEN.  The idea of a banter is for an entrepreneur to present their idea or business plan or business situation to the group.  Then have questions about how to proceed or improve something related to the business.  The group then acts as an impromptu advisory board asking more questions and offering their thoughts back to the entrepreneur/owner to help the company consider new possibilities and solutions for its needs. John’s presentation will include taste testing for you to provide feedback.  Please come share your support as well as your experience and expertise with starting a business and developing the concept with John.

Short Bio:  John S. Cotner, Ph.D., is an Educator-Researcher/Guitarist/Music Theorist.  This is his first foray into the cookie business.  He has directed and coordinated academic areas, including administration of departmental objectives and institutional initiatives.  He has developed policies, procedures and curricula, delegated responsibility, collaborated with colleagues, coached new faculty, and trained graduate assistants.  John would like to transfer this skill set into developing and running his own cookie business with his wife, Joann, and her grandmother’s cookie recipes.
