PDQ Owner's Rendezvous

Please join us for our annual Open House event. This year we will be combining the Open House with a PDQ Owners Rendezvous!  Come and catch up with other owners and share your thoughts and experiences. During the day, prospects will be viewing our current PDQ brokerage listings on display.  We will be offering a variety of seminars throughout the day. We are still working on the agenda and topics. Here is how they are shaping up:

  • Flotilla Update: Cruising the St. Johns River wrap up and upcoming 2018 Flotilla discussion with Rhumb Line's Dick Tuschick. A recap and talk about what is to come.
  • Selecting the Right Electronics: Hear from the experts with Mark Paladzo of METCo Marine electronics.
  • Girl Talk: Ladies only open discussion on a PDQ 34 with Rhumb Line's Beth Simkins.
  • Maintenance: It wouldn't be a gathering without some discussion of hoses, belts and other mechanical items. Dick Tuschick and James Power will be on point to answer any questions. 
  • Safety on Board: What to do in case of emergency on board. Marty and Andy Liljequis talk about basic First Aid and response. 
  • Maritime Law: Everything you wanted to know about maritime law but where afraid to ask. Matthew Dietrick Miller, Esq. answers some of your questions.
  • What's on Your Boat? Be sure to bring photos of your best 'add-on' to your PDQ to share with others.

Boxed lunches will be provided (if pre-ordered). They typically consist of ham or turkey sandwiches, chips and a drink. Rhumb Line will also be hosting a cocktail hour at 5:00 pm followed by a dinner. Around 6pm, food will be delivered and set up for all of us to enjoy (at a per person charge). 

There will be a few dock slips available for owners who would like to come by boat. The cost is $1/foot. You will need to arrive by noon on Friday. Please let us know asap if you would like a spot. Really, there are only a few spots for owner's boats.
