Start in Your Own Front Yard 

September 15 is International Clean-Up Day. Join with people around the world to eliminate litter and plastic from our beaches, parks and streets. Help keep plastic out of the ocean by picking it up before it goes down the strorm drains.

We complete a litter audit that involves sorting, counting and weighing the litter that is picked up.

We also conduct brief interviews with volunteers to get their feedback and comments on how to improve the litter clean - up.

The Start in Your Own Front Yard program supports Sustainable Development Goal 14 - Life Below Water - 14.1: Wliminate all land based litter by 2030.
