In a Memorandum of Understanding, signed on October 24, 2013, the governors of eight states, including Connecticut, joined by a ninth on May 3, 2018 and a tenth on November 20, 2019, committed to 3.3 million zero emission vehicles by 2025. Connecticut’s share is 125,000 zero emission vehicles and currently has 12,000 zero emission vehicles registered.
The Municipal EV Readiness Toolkit 9 Month Program, is a program for decision makers, in various sectors of the community, that provides a framework, resources and tools to support the development of town-wide, comprehensive electrification plans to transition the vehicles in Connecticut’s municipalities and communities to 30% electric by 2030.
Live Green has developed this program to support municipalities in their efforts to electrify.
All municipalities are invited to attend at no cost.
