PERMACULTURE OFFERS POSITIVE SOLUTIONS TO A PLANET IN CRISIS
Permaculture is a design science that brings together nature, earth sciences and human intelligence to develop positive solutions to create healthy and sustainable environments and build resiliant communities. Permaculture has accumulated over 35 years of experimentation and application around the world, urban and rural, in all climates and with diverse cultures.
PERMACULTURE DESIGN CERTIFICATE COURSE
The Permaculture Design Certificate Course is an internationally-recognized 72 hour course resulting in a Permaculture Design Certificate. The course includes the application of permaculture principles to food production, home design/ construction, energy conservation/generation, and explores alternative economic structures and legal strategies supporting permaculture solutions.
Certification from this course empowers you to develop a professional permaculture design, consultation and instruction business. As graduate, you will find yourself a member of an exceptional international community of permaculturists. If you desire, you can work in a much needed AID project somewhere in the world. As a graduate, you will also be eligible to attend the stimulating International Permaculture Conference and Convergences in England in 2015 and India in 2017 to create a network of permaculture practioner friends from around the world.
LEARN TO USE NATURE AS YOUR PATTERN FOR FOOD PRODUCTION, HOUSING, AND COMMUNITY
Permaculture is a design science providing a practical framework for consciously designed landscapes that mimic the patterns and relationships found in nature. These systems yield an abundance of shelter, water, energy, and food for the provision of local needs that provide diversity, stability, and resilience for local populations.

COURSE INCLUDES
COURSE FEE
We know that many people who care for the Earth would like to take this class. Considering the economic downturn, we have lowered the price of the course.
In 2009, this Permaculture Design Course class was $1450. In Fall 2011, we reduced the course fee to $1350. This is a bargain for a design course of this caliber. Because we want as many people as possible to take this course, we have lowered the price for this course to $1100, with discounts for registering early. Look for the discount at the bottom of the registration form.
How are we keeping the cost so low? We are holding this course only on the weekend to help people who work during the week. And we are not serving meals. You must bring your own food: lunch and snacks.
Note: We will contact you if you request work trade and it is available.

"What permaculturists are doing is the most important activity that any
group is doing on the planet. We don't know what details of a truly
sustainable future are going to be like, but we need options, we need
people experimenting in all kinds of ways and permaculturists are one of
the critical gangs that are doing that."
Dr David Suzuki geneticist, broadcaster
and international environmental advocate
"I have evaluated classroom teachers at all levels for many years.
You are a master teacher with great organization and management.
It is hard for me to watch/ be part of lousy teaching.
So your class has been a joy for me to participate in."
T.W, previous school administrator and consultant
