MANY THANKS TO THE FOLLOWING SUPPORTERS AND SPONSORS
Hello everyone--LOWA IS HAVING THEIR ANNUAL FALL PLANT SALE—COVID STYLE--
OCTOBER 7, 2021. Because the Delta variant of COVID seems to be hanging around, LOWA’s annual fall plant sale will once again NOT include any “extra” plants for purchase. Therefore, take the time to look through your gardens to see what needs to be replaced and what new native plants you might like to start. LOWA is giving you the opportunity to pre-order top quality native plants at the same price we’ve had for several years. These are beautiful, healthy perennial plants that grow stronger each year they are in your landscape. Fall is actually the best time of year to get these plants in the ground.
This is your opportunity to not only support LOWA and its efforts to keep our waterways clean but to also support our environment by establishing pollinator plots for endangered bees as well as flyways for the Monarch butterfly!
Pricing is as follows:
Wildflowers and Sedges/Grasses – quart sized pots -- $4.50
Shrubs and Vines – quart sized pots -- $6.00
To Pre-Order:
Click the 'Order Now' button below. Deadline for orders is September 29, 2021.
To Pick Up Your Order:
Plants will be available for pick up on October 7 at the Sunrise Beach Firehouse Training Center, Highway 5 and Porter Mill Spring Road across from Hurricane Deck Elementary School between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Once again we will have a drive through pick up of plants that will include staying in your car and your order being placed in your vehicle for you. We are very much aware that the virus is still with us and encourage everyone, including our helpers, to be safe. As previously stated because we desire to keep everyone safe, there will be NO EXTRA PLANTS to peruse—pre-orders only. So think through what you need (and want!) and make your pre-order count! Order soon as the vendor has a smaller supply of some plants AND their regular greenhouse orders have increased. Native plants are becoming more and more popular!
Reminder:
Deadline for placing orders – September 29; Plant Distribution – October 7.
