This workshop will introduce you to the most popular social media services, including blogging, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. Information moves in very different ways today than it did just a decade ago. Not only has communication moved from broadcast and print to digital media; digital media has evolved from static websites (web 1.0) to participatory, interactive social media (web 2.0). We’ll talk about what that means for your church communications plan and how to get the most benefit from these powerful communications tools. Led by Ann Turner, diocesan communications officer.
