A weekend retreat for all teens in grades 6-12 at Camp Chanco sponsored by the Episcopal Youth Community Board.

WHO: Open to all youth in grades 6-12 and their adult advisors
DATES: May 19-21, 2017
TIMES: Check-in is 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday. Departure is 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
LOCATION: Chanco on the James in Surry, VA
FEE: $120.00 per person (limited partial scholarships available upon request, based on need)
ACCOMODATIONS: Multiple occupancy rooms in Retreat Lodges A, B, C, and D, with private bath and linens provided.
MEALS: All meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday included, along with plenty of snacks throughout the weekend.
PROGRAM SAMPLE
May Weekend 2017: Made Alive in the Spirit will offer talks, programs, activities and discussions about what it really means to be a Christian in today's world with all the biases and challenges we face. How can we best love our neighbor? How can we share our faith? What do our baptismal vows really mean?
Friday Night- Icebreakers, Music and Social, Opening Assembly, First Small Group Meeting, Compline
Saturday- Morning Prayer, Large and Small Group times throughout the day, EYC Board Candidate Speeches, Noonday Prayer, Free Time with access to the Pool, Prison Ministry Presentation, Eucharist at the waterfront, Dance
Sunday Morning- EYC Board Elections, Warm Fuzzies, Senior Moment, Closing Prayers
