Morningside PlayCare Summer Pre-Registration
Each session features lots of outdoor play, nature study, special theme-based projects, music, and art. Morningside PlayCare provides a fun, natural, and engaging way for young children to acquire the Mandarin Chinese language.
Who Can Enroll in our Summer Program?
What is the Summer Program Immersion Like?
Our Mandarin staff are native speakers who speak to and play with the children 100% of the time in Mandarin. In addition, each afternoon, English-speaking staff assist the Mandarin teachers in one of the three special theme-related activities described below.
HOURS
Full day: 9am to 3:00 pm (Free early drop-off)
Half day: 9am to 12:30 pm or 3pm - 6pm (Free early drop-off)
EXTENDED CARE
Before Care: 8:15 - 9am - Free
After Care: 3:00-6:00 pm - $150 per week
Per Diem Pre-Session Enrollment: Children who will be enrolling in Session 1 may apply.

Lunch and Snacks: $70 per session.
PAYMENT
Payment may be made by check, cash, online credit card, or PayPal.
- Siblings - There is a 5% sibling discount. Enter the code SIBLING to receive this discount for up to two children per family.
- April 30th: Deadline to submit all forms and deposit to receive the early registration rate
- May 30th: Deadline to pay tuition in full to receive a rebate of your application fee.
- Thirty Days Prior to Session: All balances must be paid 30 days prior to the start of the summer session for which your child is enrolling, in order to reserve the space.
CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations made 30 days prior to the start of a session, receive a full tuition refund, less the deposit and application fee. Cancellations made less than 30 days, but by the dates below, receive a 50% refund. There are no refunds for cancellations made after the dates listed below. If space is available, parents may request to switch sessions. Full refunds will be issued if Morningside PlayCare must cancel a session. We reserve the right to modify or cancel activities, sessions, and themes based upon enrollment. Admission is not finalized until we have completed a parent/child interview and sent an enrollment letter.
• June 20: last day to request a refund for Session 1.
• June 30 last day to request a refund for the Full Summer Session.
• July 6: last day to request a refund for Session 2.
• July 28: last day to request a refund for Session 3.
REGISTRATION PROCESS
- Children are accepted until all seats are full. Enrollment is limited. An interview is required.
- Select your summer session.
- Submit a $100 deposit for each session you would like your child to attend by April 30th. This will hold your child’s spot for the designated session(s) of camp.
- Schedule a visit to Morningside PlayCare for you and your child prior to enrollment.
- Pay off your entire balance by May 30 to receive a rebate of your application fee. All balances must be paid 30 days prior to the start of the summer session for which your child is enrolled.
- Submit your child’s medical form, complete with parent information and signature, as well as the doctor’s information, signature, and stamp, as soon as possible. It’s a good idea to keep extra copies of the medical form for your records. (Make your medical appointment now to avoid the summer rush in your physician's office.)
- Submit two passport-sized photos of your child along with your signed registration forms.
