Equitable and Inclusive Engagement: Creating an Accessible Virtual Meeting Space 

Over the past year we have all engaged more and more in a digital space. For many, engaging online has increased their access to people and events that they ordinarily wouldn’t have. However, many of these online spaces have not considered issues around equity and inclusion for persons with disabilities and for persons without access to broadband or smart phones.

Nicole Cabral, Associate Director for New York Engagement Programs at Public Agenda, and Paul Khouri, a multicultural disability rights advocate, will share their thinking about how to make virtual meeting spaces more accessible while using video conferencing services and other technological applications.
