About the presenter:

Meagan Rohde received her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Denver in 2014 and began working with DCAC as an intern in 2013. Before joining the team, Meagan interned with Denver Urban Scholars and worked with the  Fostering Healthy Futures research team at the Kempe Center.  Prior to pursuing her education, she also had the opportunity to volunteer with domestic violence organizations, and with homeless and orphaned children in the U.S., Ecuador, and Mexico. Currently, Meagan provides reflective supervision to home visitors and treatment and parent education to parents and caregivers through DCAC's community partnership with Clayton Early Learning. At DCAC, Meagan has specialized in working with survivors of sexual abuse and children with sexualized behaviors and enjoys incorporating mindfulness and movement in work with clients and families. Thanks to opportunities provided through DCAC, Meagan has been trained in various treatment modalities, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), PSB-CBT (Problematic Sexual Behaviors Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and PCIT (Parent-Child Interaction Therapy).
