Description:                                                                                                                                                               The End Slavery Coalition/Salvation Army, Child Focus, Little Fork Child Advocacy Center and YWCA Greater Cincinnati are collaborating to offer a day of professional development for multi-disciplinary service providers in Clermont, Brown and Adams Counties who work with victims and survivors of human trafficking.

Objectives:                                                                                                                                                      Attendees will gain valuable insight from experts with first-hand knowledge and experience, and can expect to expand their proficiency in providing trauma-sensitive care and service-coordination, with the ultimate goal of empowering survivors and enhancing criminal justice response.

Continuing Education                                                                                                                                         Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists: The Child Focus, Inc. Training Center is approved through the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. This program is offered for 5.0 clock hours of continuing education for counselors, social workers, and marriage and family therapists. Training Center is approved by the Ohio Psychological Association MCE program to offer continuing education for Ohio psychologists.
