Georgia Chapter of N.O.B.L.E. 2013 Training & Scholarship Conference 

Dear Members,

The Georgia Chapter of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (N.O.B.L.E.) is hosting its annual training and scholarship conference on November 13-15, 2013.  The conference will be held at the Atlanta Hilton Hotel, 255 Courtland Street, NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30303.  A block of rooms has been set aside for conference attendees until October 15, 2013 at a rate of $119.00 per night; please make your reservation early (please call the Atlanta Hilton directly at 404-222-2890).  The theme of this year's conference is "Preparing Our Future Leaders". 

Law enforcement officers and their families from across the State of Georgia will join us for this training conference to dialogue on issues pertaining to criminal justice, juvenile justice and corrections.  We are working diligently to sponsor an itinerary of events and activities reflective of the national standards adopted by N.O.B.L.E.

N.O.B.L.E.'s mission is to ensure equality in the administration of justice in the provision of public service to all communities and to serve as the conscience of law enforcement by being committed to justice by action.  The goal of N.O.B.L.E. is to be known as a highly competent, public service organization that is at the forefront of providing solutions to law enforcement issues and concerns, as well as to the every changing needs of our communities. 

The Georgia Chapter of N.O.B.L.E. is emphasizing on membership and ensuring that they youth who are awarded scholarships with funds generated by our annual training and scholarship conference will afford the organization and its members the opportunity to continue to learn from the collective knowledge of its members and other sources of criminal justice research and data.

We request your participation at this year's conference.  You will receive POST credit and a certificate of attendance upon completion of the 16-hour training module.  The agenda is designed to address a variety of topics that have practical applications in such areas as juvenile laws, policy and procedure, management, technology and community policing.
