Ideal55 Wine Lockers &  Donelan Wine Dinner

Ideal 55 is privileged to have Donelan Family Wines as our vineyard partner on September 16th for our 5-course pairing dinner at Spago Beverly Hills.

If you're not yet familiar with Donelan Wines, you should be. Donelan is a small boutique winery in Sonoma County, founded in 2008, that produces Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Grenache, and Roussanne. Their wines have captured the attention of Robert Parker, Antonio Galloni, and Steve Heimoff, creating a stir in the press and among collectors. Parker has awarded Donelan wines 2 perfect scores and admires the "exceptionally elegant portfolio". Steve Heimoff of Wine Enthusiast Magazine praises Donelan with similar sentiments; "easily the greatest Syrah ever produced from Sonoma Valley".

These are robust, exciting, expressive wines of excellent terroir, showcasing the very unique vineyard sites that make these wines so special. We're fortunate to be able to taste some of their older offerings as well as exciting new releases and the first release of their "Genevieve" Chardonnay.

Founder, Joe Donelan, and sales and marketing director, Cushing Donelan, will join us the night of the event to discuss the project and their wines.
