Vestibular Activities in Natural Environments

This LiveTalk will address how to provide vestibular and other movement-based activities in natural environments including home and school. The rationale and clinical reasoning for selecting given interventions and problem solving on how to engage others in promoting movement experiences for children will be discussed.

Diana Henry, MS, OTR/L, FAOTA is president of Henry Occupational Therapy Services, Inc. Diana, along with Lorna Jean King, founded what is now the Children’s Center in Arizona. In 1984 she opened her clinic specializing in sensory integration. She has taught at Arizona State University , nationally to school districts and associations/clinics, as well as internationally in Australia, Canada, England, France, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, Brazil, Scotland, Ireland, and Northern Ireland. She also writes and produces a line of books and DVDs in the Tools For series. Diana Henry received her B.S. in OT from Tufts University, and her M.S. in sensory integration from Rush University.
