Community Recognition Dinner 

Join us for our 25th Annual Community Recognition Dinner! We will honor outstanding individuals, organizations, businesses, families, and volunteers whose extraordinary efforts have made an impact in the community for people with developmental disabilities.

The evening will feature Local12 WKRC's John Lomax as our emcee and Q102's Jenn Jordan as our keynote speaker.

Community Impact Award 

This recognition award honors a person, group, business or organization who goes above and beyond their duty as an employee, to make an impact in the community for people with developmental disabilities. The impact can be the result of any number of extraordinary efforts including: creating employment opportunities, providing job support, volunteering, advocating, or helping people with disabilities in everyday aspects of life. At the Community Recognition Dinner, 100 or more people will be honored with the Community Impact Award.

Partner of the Year Award

This award honors a community partner, be it a business, organization, or other entity, for its commitment and leadership in creating meaningful experiences for individuals with developmental disabilities. The award honors those who go above and beyond in their community and who serve as an example of what it means to provide quality employment opportunities or increased independence to people with developmental disabilities.

Family Lifetime Achievement Award

This award honors a family who, through their advocacy efforts over 10 years or more, has helped create opportunities for people with disabilities.

Community Advocate Award

This award honors a person with or without a developmental disability who has contributed to their community through volunteer service and/or advocacy efforts. In your nomination, cite specific ways this person has contributed to their community.

Young Pioneer Award

This award honors a family of a young child who receives services from the Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities who supports the Board by promoting services and/or advocating on behalf of people with developmental disabilities.

Community Inclusion Award

This award honors an outstanding provider who goes above and beyond to support people with disabilities to live their lives fully in the community. This award can be presented to an individual provider or an agency or both. In your nomination, cite the ways this provider has fostered a positive culture while supporting people with developmental disabilities to participate in their community.

Volunteer of the Year Award

This award honors a volunteer who gives their time and talents throughout the year to enrich the lives of people served by the Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities. This award can be given to an individual or to a group.
