Mandi Herring, AICP
Mandi Herring is the Planning Operations Manager for the City of Charleston Department of Planning, Preservation & Sustainability. She oversees departmental operations related to planning, zoning, preservation, design, and business services and is responsible for project management, budgetary management, and organizational efficiency. Mandi works with City leadership, various internal and external partners, and the community to ensure that special projects align with comprehensive planning strategies, codes/ordinances, and community goals. In her previous role, Mandi served as West Ashley Project Coordinator for the City and worked on special planning projects for West Ashley including the West Ashley TIF District, the West Ashley Farmers Market, the West Ashley Master Plan, and several West Ashley community engagement initiatives.
Eric A Pohlman, CNU-A
Eric is the West Ashley Project Coordinator for the City of Charleston. His role with the City is to enact the strategies and goals of Plan West Ashley and ensure a coordinated redevelopment of the West Ashley area. He graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a Professional Master of Architecture and the University of South Florida with a Masters of Urban and Community Design. He has an interest in how the community, government, and private sector can collaborate to create the best public realm. He worked for Berkeley County Government as a Planner focused on Nexton and Cane Bay and he worked the Town of Mount Pleasant as the Senior Planner for Old Village Historic District and Special Projects prior to employment with the City of Charleston. Since being with the City of Charleston he has become an active participant and partner with West Ashley United, the Charleston Parks Conservancy, and the Metro Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Olson joined Armada Hoffler Properties in 2013. In his role as Development Manager, his efforts are focused mainly on multi million dollar mixed-use projects located in the Greater Baltimore/Washington, D.C., Richmond , VA and Charleston ,SC. Mr. Olson has a Bachelor’s in Marketing and Management from Davis and Elkins College in West Virginia.
