2018 VWHE Fall Dinner 

Celebrate the achievements of women working in higher education at the 2018 Fall Dinner hosted by the Vermont Women in Higher Education!  Congratulate the three 2018 award winners, Debra Leonard, Patricia Prelock, and Emily Meyer and catch up with colleagues from across the state.  Our keynote speaker is Sandra Affenito, Provost and Dean of Faculty at Norwich University.

About the Keynote Speaker:

Sandra Affenito

Dr. Sandra G. Affenito has over twenty-five years of leadership and administrative experience in higher education, health care, and the corporate sector. Dr. Affenito currently serves as Provost and Dean of Faculty at Norwich University.  Throughout her career, Dr. Affenito has had an active academic agenda as a teacher, scholar, and bio-behavioral research scientist.  She has written and co-authored 60 peer-reviewed journal publications and has been an invited speaker at international and national conferences. As a 2012 alumna of the HERS (Higher Education Resource Services) Institute for Women in Higher Education Administration, Wellesley College and a 2015 graduate of the Institute for Management and Leadership in Education at Harvard University, Dr. Affenito has a distinguished record of professional and community service, most recently focusing on the American Council of Education (ACE) Women’s Network as well as ACE Inclusive Excellence.

Dinner Details:
The evening will include a cash bar, appetizers, and a buffet with both meat and vegetarian options. Gluten-free, dairy-free and nut-free food options will be available. Coffee, tea and dessert will also be provided.
