Course Description:
The Presentation will cover various ethical requirements for professional engineers in the State of Nebraska, using the Nebraska Code of Practice as a framework. The presentation will also discuss case studies, lawsuits and hypotheticals to highlight how the ethical standards arise in engineering practice. While the presentation will touch on lawsuits involving engineers, the focus of the presentation is on ethical standards and how those may be different or similar to the applicable legal standard.
